Reusable Washable Pads for Girls

INternational Womens Day

Many girls in our villages, stop going to school after they got their first period because they don’t have hygienic pads, a profoundly embarrassing thing.

The good news is that there are many other lifesaving reasons why having period pads will change their lives in the most profound ways. (Reduction of marriage, of rape, better mental health, self-esteem, personal hygiene and privacy, opportunity to get an education, etc.)

Every girl deserves to have at least 7 pads for comfortable use during their menstruation.

Unfortunately, we only had a total of 700 pads. That wasn’t enough for all the girls in our villages. We decided to give 3 pads to each girl and still, we didn’t have enough for 4 schools out of our 11 schools.

Hundreds of girls are at home right now (not attending school) because of lack of pads.

The pads we distribute are washable, reusable, 100% ecofriendly, leak-proof, super absorbent (manufactured in the USA with no harmful chemicals)

With the pads, we need to distribute underwear, ziplock bags and a bar of soap. Also if possible a water filter to make sure they’re using bacteria-free water to clean themselves & the pads.

Please make a donation of $5, $10, $20 or more for pads to save young girls and permit them to go to school. Thank you!
