Let’s Celebrate Mother Africa! May 25, Africa Day, is aimed at celebrating and acknowledging the successes of the OAU Organization since its inception. The Organization of African Unity was an intergovernmental organization established on 25 May 1963 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It symbolizes Africa’s unity, commitment to peace, democracy, and economic development. 

The theme for Africa Day 2023 is “Acceleration of AfCFTA implementation”.
