Say hello to Mumzy’s Children. We celebrate what we have and keep hope, despite the harsh conditions of life.
Their school behind us is crumbling because of flimsy construction, it doesn’t have toilets, no water, no electricity, not enough classrooms (only 2 classrooms for 6 levels), not enough school benches (most kids seat on the floor), the roof was half gone, we’re in the process of fixing it, no pharmacy in case of illness or accident (I am bringing them first aid pharmacy kits on my next trip, please send us a kit if you can and on and on. They have almost nothing that they should have.
Many are still staying home, because of poverty.
