YES! Let’s Go Deep In The Jungle! From my school in village Daido to the one in village Nkolvomdo. It’s a struggle to reach those villages but look around. Isn’t nature beautiful? BTW the air is also super fresh!
The MumzyCRF foundation has 4 schools in this specific region. We’re about to get a 2 more next year which will bring the total number of our schools in Cameroon to 13.
Our main goal is to make EDUCATION accessible to children in the most remote rural communities.
We are supporting 3000+ children living in extreme poverty. Children who wouldn’t go to school if we couldn’t help.
There are more children staying at home because they can’t afford to go to school. Our goal is to support 10,000 children by 2018!
Tuition is only $10/year/Child. (Please donate $10 dollars today and help a kid go to school for the next year 2022/23) Click to Support a Kid
BYW: We accept donations of school supplies and we need a lot of them. (Backpacks, notebooks, uniforms, shoes, water bottles, water filters..)
Stay tuned as I will post the pictures and videos of this challenging trip to Nkolvomdo. We left the city with 2 trucks. One truck broke down before we reached our school in village Mbanga. The 2nd truck broke between Biyebe and Daido. We decided to get on motorcycles. We had 5 of them. One by one they also broke down. Until we were on foot! We had to walk 15 miles in the forest in the middle of the night, to reach the next village where we could get help.
In these villages, along with the lack of many basic things like a medical center or roads, there is no electricity and no phone connection so, no way to communicate will the city to let them know that we were in car trouble.
Towards the end of the video, you can see the school with the kids of the village… We need $2000 to build a better temporary school.
A permanent classroom costs us $8000.
Please make a donation today and stay connected.
